OK, so Hill Country House Concerts is STILL on a temporary hiatus. We're still trying to figure out if and when we're going to fire it up again. We miss it and all of you. Welcome to the Hill Country House Concerts Web Site. Have a look around, see what we do, listen to some music, flip through some photo's, have a good time and make plans to join us for our next concert.
Our MissionHill Country House Concerts, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the education, promotion, presentation, performance, awareness, and appreciation of traditional and contemporary folk music in San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country.
Series ProfileHill Country House Concerts is a non-profit, private, acoustic house concert series featuring the finest singer songwriters from around the country performing in an intimate living room setting. Starting at 7:30 p.m., and always nonsmoking, Hill Country House Concerts is a wonderful way to enjoy live music without some of the hassles and expenses of going to a club. Between two sets of music, we enjoy a potluck dinner with the coffee, iced tea, plates, etc., provided. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages. The admission contribution is usually $10 or $15 per person with all the money going to the performer. Most performers will also have CDs and tapes available for purchase and autographs. Reservations or advance ticket purchases are requested. Whip up or pick up something for the potluck and join us for a wonderful evening of great entertainment.
